From San Francisco / South Bay
(A 20-minute drive from San Francisco)

Take the Golden Gate Bridge and Highway 101 North for about 11 miles.
Take the Central San Rafael exit, go one block and turn left on Third Street.
Stay on Third, bear right onto Sir Francis Drake Blvd until your reach Fairfax (about 4 miles).
Take the first left on Pacheco Avenue (20 yards) and turn immediately right on Broadway Blvd.You will see the Fairfax Theater and find Cafe Amsterdam mid-block downtonw Broadway, three doors right from the Fairfax Theatre.

From the East Bay
(Fairfax is about 5 miles from San Rafael Bridge Exit):

Cross the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge and continue to Highway 101 North.
Take the Central San Rafael exit, go one block and turn left on Third Street.

You will see the Fairfax Theater and find Cafe Amsterdam mid-block downtonw Broadway, three doors down from the Fairfax Theatre.
